RenewEd: Learning the Art of Recycling eTwinning Project
The project in which our school is involved aims to raise awareness of students about the environment by both having fun and learning. Our teachers working in the project aim to encourage students to adopt sustainability and recycling culture by offering them the opportunity to transform waste materials into works of art. Within the scope of the project, Turkey will cooperate with partners from Romania, Greece, Turkey, Slovakia, Italy, Poland and Croatia. Students’ language development and cultural and social skills will also be supported, contributing to their well-being.
Activities to be organized within the scope of the project include recycling workshops, exhibitions and various artistic events. The works obtained at the end of the project will be shared in an exhibition and will contribute to increasing awareness about recycling.
The RenewEd project aims to provide a fun and educational experience, aiming for children not only to be environmentally conscious individuals but also to love art. This meaningful project will play an important role in creating a more sustainable world for future generations by raising environmental awareness among children.

Elevii Şcolii Gimnaziale Garabet Ibrăileanu Târgu Frumos au sărbătorit Ziua Internaţională a Alimentaţiei, 2017 într-un mod festiv, cum era şi de aşteptat. Sub razele blânde ale soarelui generos de octombrie s-au adunat în curtea şcolii şi au adus fructe şi legume de sezon. Au avut invitaţi de vază, foşti elevi ai şcolii, acum studenţi la Facultatea de Medicină Iaşi, secţia Nutriţie, care i-au distrat cu jocuri, ghicitori despre alimentaţia corectă dar care le-au facut şi recomandări despre importanţa unui stil de viaţă sănătos.
În acelaşi timp, elevii claselor a IV-a au participat la grădiniţa din oraş unde, împreună cu preşcolarii au desenat simbolul alimentaţei – floarea prieteniei!
Ce au primit în dar? Câte un fruct, simbol al Sănătăţii pe termen lung dar şi …. Veselie, Comunicare, Joacă, Fericire, SĂNĂTATE !!!
